Dashboards & Reporting Specialist

This role would be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated Power BI dashboards to track KPI's across the Bussmann organization leveraging Eaton industry 2.0 solutions.

 
Daily monitor automated data workflows in Power BI services, Snowflake and SAP BW, ensuring successful executionand timely refresh of Power BI dashboards to maintain data accuracy and availability. Adhoc data anlysis. Learn to write SQL queries in Snowflake and address real time business questions. Analyze and optimize underperforming Power BI reports and queries to enhance efficiency. Maintain over 15 currently existing Dashboards on a daily basis

• Data Visualization & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain automated Power BI dashboards to track KPIs across pricing, supply chain, and manufacturing.

• Continuous Solution Enhancement: Collaborated closely with end users to refine and elevate existing analytics solutions by enhancing functionality, redesigning workflows, and implementing new features based on evolving business needs and user feedback.

• Data Management: Write and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various data sources.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data models.

• Data Governance: Ensure data accuracy and consistency by performing regular audits and validating reports against source systems.

• Data Pipeline Monitoring: Daily Monitor automated data workflows in Power BI Services, Snowflake and SAP BW, ensuring successful execution and timely refresh of Power BI dashboards to maintain data accuracy and availability.

• Ad-hoc Data Analysis: Write and execute SQL queries in Snowflake to address real-time business questions and support decision-making with quick, data-driven insights.

• Data Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous validation of Power BI DAX measures by cross-referencing with raw data in Snowflake to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of reported metrics.

• Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize underperforming Power BI reports and Snowflake queries to enhance system efficiency and reduce latency in data retrieval and visualization.

1. B.Tech or MBA
2. 8 to 10 years of work experience.

• Business Intelligence: Hands-on experience using Power BI (DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling).

• Data Warehousing: Foundational knowledge of Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses) and proficiency in SQL.

• ERP & Operations tools & System: Basic understanding and working knowledge in SAP & SAP BW

• Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Power Pivot).
