As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging dance sessions that cater to students across different age groups and skill levels.
You will introduce various dance forms—such as classical, contemporary, or freestyle—while focusing on rhythm, coordination, expression, and stage presence.
The role requires creating a structured yet enjoyable learning environment that encourages students to explore their talent and build confidence.
You will also play an active role in organizing school events, cultural programs, and competitions, helping students prepare performances that reflect creativity and teamwork.
Collaboration with other faculty members will be essential to integrate dance into broader school activities and contribute to a vibrant school culture.

Key Responsibilities Plan and conduct dance classes aligned with school curriculum and student skill levels Teach various dance styles, focusing on technique, rhythm, coordination, and expression Choreograph routines for school events, annual functions, and competitions Encourage student participation and build confidence through performance-based learning Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Organize and coordinate dance-related activities and cultural programs Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary activities and school initiatives Ensure discipline and effective classroom management during sessions Stay updated with current dance trends and teaching methodologies What Makes You a Great Fit Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Dance Teacher or professional dancer Strong foundation in one or more dance forms (classical, contemporary, freestyle, etc.
) Passion for teaching and ability to engage students across age groups Good communication and interpersonal skills Creative mindset with strong choreography and presentation skills Ability to inspire confidence and stage presence in students Experience in organizing performances and events is an advantage Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards student development Strong classroom management and organizational skills Familiarity with CBSE school environment is a plus
