As a Custom Software Engineer, your day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to align with specific business processes and application needs. You will engage in understanding the requirements, translating them into functional software solutions, and ensuring that the applications effectively support organizational objectives. Collaboration with various stakeholders to refine application features and continuous improvement of the software environment are integral parts of your daily activities, fostering seamless business operations through customized technology solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and validation.
- Document configuration and development processes to maintain clear and accessible records.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting in problem-solving efforts.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Callidus Configuration and Development.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Experience in configuring and customizing enterprise software solutions to meet business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently within the application environment.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data flow between different software modules.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Callidus Configuration and Development.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
