As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison between various stakeholders. The position demands coordinating efforts across teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing challenges that arise during the software development lifecycle. The engineer plays a pivotal role in shaping the application s architecture and functionality to meet business needs effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
- Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment on Microsoft Azure platform.
- Strong understanding of platform-as-a-service components including app services, functions, and logic apps.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code and automation tools to streamline application provisioning and management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications for performance and scalability.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements within cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
