Cost Engineering

Perform Product Teardown & Should-cost analysis for Automotive / Energy equipments & Tool/ Dies/Mold Costing etc.
. Lead VAVE workshops to identify cost-saving opportunities
. Collaborate with design, sourcing, and suppliers to optimize product cost
. Support new product development with early cost estimation
. Analyze supplier quotes and manufacturing processes for cost validation
. Drive supply chain cost reduction and localization strategies

B.E./B. Tech in Mechanicalor Industrial Engineering
. 3-8 years in cost engineering, preferably in automotive, Medical or energy domains
. Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes
. Experience in costing of mechanical parts & assemblies involving stamping, injection molding, die casting, forging, machining and secondary finishing processes etc...
. Experience with VAVE, cost modeling tools, and supplier negotiations
. Familiarity working on COTS tools like Siemens TcPCM, aPriori, SEER etc...
