We are looking for Commercial Project & Bid Manager We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Project & Bid Manager to manage the full commercial lifecycle—from bid preparation through project execution and closure—for mid-to-large Mobility projects. This role combines responsibilities in project controlling, contract management, bid financials, and risk management, ensuring profitability and compliance across all phases. You’ll make a difference by Commercial Project Management (Execution Phase) Support the Project Manager in all commercial and financial matters. Drive project profitability and asset optimization through proactive financial management. Manage bank guarantees, insurance, taxation, and contractual obligations. Cost controlling and monitoring, Billing, invoicing, receivables, accruals, provisions and working capital optimization Prepare accurate and timely cost & cash flow forecasts. Conduct project reviews, milestone tracking, and status reporting to management. Ensure compliance with internal governance (ICFR), financial controls, and reporting standards. Manage vendor commercial aspects, including Supplier invoices and payments and Letters of Credit (LC) Maintain regular coordination with customers, including site visits. Identify and evaluate risks & opportunities, implement mitigation measures, and maintain reserves. Handle contract execution activities, including Managing claims and counterclaims; Contract amendments and negotiations Prepare final project reports including lessons learned. Commercial Bid Management (Pre-Sales / Tender Phase) Lead and support commercial activities during tendering and bid submission. Develop costing models and pricing strategies for mid-to-large projects. Prepare and validate: Cost calculations and pricing scenarios Financial forms and bid documentation Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Tax, Legal, Insurance, Logistics) to ensure comprehensive bid input. Handle bid-related financial instruments: EMD, Bid Bonds, Bank Guarantees, LOA, Commercial Forms Perform financial analysis and business case evaluation for strategic opportunities. Ensure timely and compliant submission of bids. Support negotiations with customers, consortium partners, and subcontractors on commercial terms and risks. Cross-Functional & Strategic Responsibilities Collaborate with internal functions for P&L, balance sheet, and debtor reviews. Prepare management reports and presentations on financial and project performance. Drive process improvements and use of digital tools/automation for operational efficiency. Work on strategic business transactions and ad-hoc analysis to address complex challenges. Ensure effective stakeholder communication across functions and geographies Desired Skills: Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in commercial project management, controlling, or bid management, with prior exposure to EPC, infrastructure, or mobility projects considered an advantage. should possess strong expertise in financial modeling, costing analysis, project controlling, and cash flow management, along with advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP. A solid understanding of contract law, taxation, insurance, and risk management is essential. The role demands the ability to interpret complex contracts and commercial frameworks, identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies, and work independently in a complex, matrix-driven environment.
