5-2 LPA) Min Experience: 0 years Location: Chengalpattu JobType: full-time We are looking for a motivated CNC Operator to join our machine shop team and support precision manufacturing operations.
This role involves operating and setting up CNC machines to produce high-quality metal components as per specifications.
You will be responsible for understanding basic CNC programming, machine setup, and ensuring accuracy in production while maintaining safety and quality standards.
As an entry-level opportunity, this role is ideal for freshers or candidates starting their career in manufacturing who are eager to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
You will work closely with senior operators, supervisors, and quality teams to deliver consistent output and improve machining processes over time.
Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machines for machining metal components as per technical drawings and specifications Assist in CNC machine setup, tool selection, and basic programming adjustments Load raw materials, monitor machining processes, and ensure smooth machine operation Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain proper documentation of production activities and machine parameters Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures within the machine shop Identify basic machine issues and report them to supervisors for timely resolution Support routine machine maintenance and cleaning activities Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets Continuously learn CNC programming and machining techniques to improve efficiency What Makes You a Great Fit Basic knowledge or training in CNC programming and machine setup Interest in working with metal components and machining processes Willingness to learn and grow in a manufacturing or machine shop environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards Basic understanding of engineering drawings and measurement tools (preferred) Good teamwork and communication skills Ability to work in shifts and handle physically active tasks Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply Exposure to machine shop environments or metalworking (added advantage)
