Project Role : Cloud Platform Engineer
Project Role Description : Select and deploy appropriate cloud-native tools to accelerate application development. Knowledge of the target cloud-native tools is necessary, and this role can specialize in one specific native cloud, ex. Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.
Must have skills : Amazon Connect
Good to have skills : Python (Programming Language), Node.js, Java
Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education
Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating and implementing cloud-native tools that best support the acceleration of application development. This role requires continuous assessment of available cloud technologies to ensure optimal deployment strategies. The engineer collaborates with various teams to integrate these tools effectively, ensuring seamless cloud infrastructure operations. They focus on selecting solutions that align with project goals and organizational needs, while maintaining adaptability to evolving cloud environments. The position demands proactive problem-solving and strategic planning to enhance cloud platform capabilities and support development workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of cloud-native tools to improve development efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to align cloud platform strategies.
- Mentor junior team members to support their growth and development within the cloud platform domain.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Connect.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java, Python (Programming Language), Node.js.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and deployment models.
- Experience with automation and orchestration tools within cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud platform performance.
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Amazon Connect.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
