This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2500000 - Rs 3000000 (ie INR 25 - 30 LPA) Min Experience: 7 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Manager to lead and manage large-scale cloud infrastructure operations across multi-cloud environments.
This role is responsible for ensuring high availability, operational reliability, security compliance, and cost optimization of business-critical cloud platforms while driving continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Cloud Operations & Reliability Drive 24×7 cloud operations to ensure high availability and reliability of critical applications Own SLA adherence, incident management, monitoring, and performance optimization initiatives Lead capacity planning activities to support business growth and increasing workloads Infrastructure & Cost Optimization Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and operational spend Implement cost-efficiency initiatives and performance improvement strategies Manage infrastructure forecasting, budgeting, and utilization trends Cloud Governance & Security Ensure compliance with cloud governance frameworks, ISMS standards, and security best practices Oversee patching, system hardening, and vulnerability management processes Conduct risk assessments across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments Cloud Provisioning & Architecture Support Evaluate, recommend, and implement cloud technologies and services Define and manage vendor SLAs, SOWs, and service alignment Support architecture and integration decisions for enterprise applications Stakeholder & Service Management Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to improve service delivery Conduct regular service reviews, reporting, and performance tracking Drive customer satisfaction and continuous operational improvement initiatives Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience managing multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI Deep understanding of cloud operations, monitoring tools, incident management, and infrastructure reliability Experience handling large-scale infrastructure environments with 1000+ servers Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Good to Have: Exposure to cloud architecture and solution design Experience in cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices Familiarity with disaster recovery (DR), high availability, and zero data loss systems Understanding of PaaS and IaaS models Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 7+ years of overall experience, including significant exposure to Cloud Operations and project/service management ITIL, AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud certifications preferred Who Should Apply: Professionals passionate about managing large-scale, mission-critical cloud environments Individuals who think strategically about uptime, SLAs, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency Candidates experienced in handling complex multi-cloud ecosystems and enterprise infrastructure Self-driven professionals who take ownership of operational excellence and stakeholder outcomes Why This Role: Opportunity to manage and optimize enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure High-impact role with ownership of reliability, security, and operational excellence Exposure to cutting-edge cloud technologies and large-scale transformation initiatives
