This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 600000 - Rs 700000 (ie INR 6-7 LPA) Min Experience: 5 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer specializing in jewellery design to create, modify, and optimize 2D and 3D models using advanced design tools.
This role focuses on developing high-quality, production-ready designs while ensuring alignment with manufacturing feasibility and market trends.
You will work closely with design and production teams to enhance design efficiency, bring innovative ideas to life, and deliver precise, detailed models under tight timelines.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with creativity and has a strong understanding of jewellery design and CAD systems.
Key Responsibilities Develop and modify 2D and 3D jewellery designs using Rhino, Matrix, and other CAD tools Support the design team in creating accurate and production-ready CAD models Ensure designs are aligned with manufacturing feasibility and technical constraints Handle end-to-end CAD assignments including new model creation and design enhancements Maintain high levels of precision, speed, and quality in design outputs Suggest and implement new design techniques, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency Collaborate with internal teams to align designs with business and production requirements Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines What Makes You a Great Fit Strong expertise in Rhino, Matrix, and jewellery CAD design tools Solid understanding of jewellery and diamond market trends and requirements Ability to balance creativity with technical accuracy and production feasibility Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure Effective time management and multitasking skills Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Experience working with design teams and managing CAD workflows Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in design processes
