CAD Automation Engineer (AutoCAD, Inventor, VB.NET)

We are seeking a skilled CAD Automation Engineer with strong expertise in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and VB.NET/.NET technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing automation solutions to improve design efficiency, reduce manual effort, and streamline engineering workflows.

• Develop and implement CAD automation solutions using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor APIs
• Design and maintain automation tools using VB.NET/.NET framework
• Automate repetitive design tasks, drawing generation, and model updates
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver automation solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing automation scripts/tools
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and documentation practices

• Strong experience in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
• Proficiency in VB.NET / .NET programming
• Hands-on experience with CAD automation and API-based development
• Understanding of engineering design workflows and drawings

• Experience with iLogic (Inventor) or scripting tools
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Exposure to data handling, file processing, or integration workflows
• Experience in large-scale automation projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science / Related field
