In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Finance Analytics, you will serve as a strategic advisor to clients for their Enterprise Planning and Performance Management needs. You will design, build, and manage planning and performance management technology solutions that assist clients in executing their corporate strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Design Technology Solutions: Design, build, and manage planning and performance management technology solutions that meet clients' corporate strategy execution needs, utilizing AI-infused extended Planning, Analytics (xP&A), and Performance Management platforms. * Analyze Data Insights: Analyze data to drive insights and make data-driven decisions, effectively communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive performance management discussions. * Identify Performance Gaps: Identify performance gaps, implement change, and develop comprehensive transformation recommendations to address these gaps, leveraging knowledge of financial planning processes and AI/ML-infused forecasting algorithms. * Develop Strategic Plans: Develop strategic plans that integrate business acumen, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to drive successful Financial Reporting, Planning, and Performance Management projects at the Enterprise level. * Drive Business Outcomes: Drive business outcomes by applying a deep understanding of processes related to strategy, marketing, sales & operations planning, and financial planning, ensuring alignment with clients' overall business objectives.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Technical Proficiency in xP&A: Experience with AI-infused extended Planning, Analytics (xP&A), and Performance Management platforms, such as IBM Planning Analytics and Cognos Controller, with the ability to design, build, and manage planning and performance management technology solutions. * Financial Planning Processes: Experience in financial planning processes, including strategy, marketing, sales & operations planning, capital planning, project planning, production and capacity planning, long-range forecasting, rolling forecasts, cash flow forecasting, and financial statement (B/S and P&L) planning and financial modeling. * AI/ML-infused Forecasting: Experience with AI/ML-infused forecasting algorithms, with the ability to analyze data to drive insights and make data-driven decisions. * Performance Management: Experience in identifying performance gaps, implementing change, and developing comprehensive transformation recommendations to address these gaps. * Business Acumen: Experience in integrating business acumen, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to drive successful Financial Reporting, Planning, and Performance Management projects at the Enterprise level.

* Cloud Financial Planning Knowledge: Experience with cloud financial planning and performance management software, leveraging expertise to design and implement technology solutions that meet clients' corporate strategy execution needs. * Advanced Analytics Skills: Experience with advanced analytics, including data analysis and interpretation, to drive insights and make data-driven decisions that inform performance management discussions. * Financial Modeling Expertise: Experience with financial modeling, including financial statement planning and analysis, to develop comprehensive transformation recommendations that address performance gaps.
