This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 5 years Location: Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai JobType: full-time We are looking for Backend Engineers ( SDE 2/3/Staff ) to join our platform team.
You will contribute to designing and scaling the backend services that support our no-code app builder and core orchestration layer, collaborating closely with engineers from infrastructure, frontend, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities Develop RESTful services and backend systems Convert product and system designs into robust, reliable services Enhance performance, stability, and scalability of backend components Integrate diverse services, APIs, and datasets across teams Write well-structured code and participate in code reviews Mentor junior engineers and keep up-to-date with the latest backend technologies Qualifications 5 to 12 years of experience in backend development Proficient in Python, Node.
js, or Go Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS) Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or GCP Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset Skills Backend Kubernetes PostgreSQL Golang System Design
