Job Opportunity: Onsite Resident Engineer (Contract) – Dolvi 📍 Location: Dolvi (On-site Deployment) 📄 Position Type: Direct Contract 🔧 Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to support Siemens make automation products, with a strong focus on Siemens S7-1200, S7-1500 PLCs. Knowledge on Siemens make SINAMICS Drives will be added advantage. This role involves hands-on work in configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial communication systems within a plant environment. Key Responsibilities: • Engineer shall represent SIEMENS & shall be the face of an organization responsible for customer relationship building especially with Field Management & Maintenance Team. • Close interaction with Siemens Local Office & HQ at Germany • Configure, commission, and provide support for SIMATIC S7-1200, S7-1500 PLC systems, HMI & SCADA Systems. • Proactively plan Preventive Maintenance activities with Customer’s Site team of Siemens Automation Products. • Troubleshooting & discussing with customer on possible improvement areas. • Ensure the smooth functioning of automation and communication networks • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders for issue resolution • Maintain proper documentation and provide regular status updates Requirements: • Hands-on expertise with Siemens S7-1200 & S7-1500 PLCs • Experience in Industrial networking and communication protocols & products such as HMI & SCADA Systems. • Good understanding of automation systems and industrial communication protocols • Willingness to work on-site at Sanand • Look out for Business Opportunities & Acquisition of service business like Service contracts, spares, Retrofit of the old systems Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous) • Familiarity with SIMATIC Manager & TIA Portal • Knowledge of Profinet / Profibus / Modbus communication • Experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment
