General Summary:
We are looking for an Associate Engineer – Audio Platform Software to join the Audio Platform team working on embedded audio software for Hearables and Wearables products. This role focuses on low-level audio platform software and drivers, helping bring up, integrate, and debug audio interfaces on embedded SoCs.
This is an entry-level individual contributor role designed to build strong fundamentals in audio drivers, RTOS-based systems, and real-time data paths. Experience with audio algorithms or signal processing is not required, but familiarity is considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
· Work on audio hardware interfaces and drivers under guidance, including:
o Basic microphone and speaker driver paths and others
· Assist in development and integration of audio platform software components for capture and playback use cases.
· Support software running under a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), including tasks, interrupts, and synchronization primitives.
· Work with senior engineers to understand inter-processor communication and shared-memory usage in audio pipelines.
· Participate in code reviews, testing, and issue triage activities.

Required Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
· Basic proficiency in C/C++ programming.
· Understanding of embedded systems fundamentals.
· Basic knowledge or coursework exposure to:
o RTOS concepts (tasks, interrupts, scheduling, synchronization)
o Embedded peripherals or device drivers
· Willingness to learn and debug low-level audio platform software.
· Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
Desired Skills
· Exposure to any audio interfaces like PCM, I2S etc.,
· Familiarity with ARM Cortex-M class processors or DSP architectures.
· Basic understanding of multi-core systems and shared-memory concepts.
· Knowledge of audio algorithms, signal processing, or acoustic concepts is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
