We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President - Operations.

In this role, you will:

• Fixed Income Securities Operations forms a part of the wider Securities Operations and segregated by asset class, is responsible for ensuring all Fixed Income trades booked by the front office flow through the various stages of the trade life cycle and settle successfully on value date. 
• To continuously provide high quality processing service to achieve maximum customer satisfaction within the specified PLAs. Responsible for relationship building and resolving customer inquiries in a professional manner.
• Ensure all trade cancellations, amendments investigations and settlements of exceptions are completed on a timely basis. Ensure TDP and C&S teams work collaboratively to resolve any trade booking or matching discrepancies. FOBO Breaks / Cash Reconciliation Breaks / Investigations cases are escalated based on procedure
• Ensuring that risk is minimized and profit is maximized through effective management of costs/resources. Ensure that process and procedures are continually reviewed and improved and the changes are communicated and implemented effectively
• Role includes monitoring of age exceptions for Confirmations and FOBO breaks investigations.
• Ensure Performance Level Agreement is always adhered, FOBO Breaks / Cash Reconciliation Breaks / Investigations cases are escalated based on procedure
• Ensure all trade cancellations, amendments investigations and settlements of exceptions are completed on a timely basis. Ensure TDP and C&S teams work collaboratively to resolve any trade booking or matching discrepancies

To be successful, you will:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in an operations environment is mandatory
• Experience in Fixed Income Securities Operations would be highly advantageous, or other line Operations teams
• A degree in accounting/finance/management/business administration. Higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position.
• Possess knowledge on MS Office with good numerical and analytical skills. 
• Flexibility to work shifts (US shift)  
• Leadership skills, with ability to build rapport with and relate to and effectively develop a wide range of people.
• Good Management skills and initiate improvements.
