To provide quantitative and analytical expertise to support trading strategies, risk management, and decision-making within the investment banking domain, applying quantitative analysis, mathematical modelling, and technology to optimise trading and investment opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Development and implementation of quantitative models and strategies to derive insight into market trends and optimize trading decisions, pricing, and risk management across various financial products and markets.
- Working closely with sales teams to identify clients' needs and develop customised solutions.
- In-depth research, data analysis, and statistical modelling to derive insights into market trends, pricing, and risk dynamics.
- Provide front office infrastructure support though ownership and maintenance of analytical libraries.
- Provision of expertise on quantitative methodologies, technological advancements, and industry best practices to drive innovation within the trading environment.

Join us as an "Assistant Vice President – FX Structuring” where you will act as a critical bridge between Trading and Sales, designing, pricing, and delivering bespoke derivative solutions for institutional and corporate clients across APAC. Operating in a fast‑paced, high‑conviction front‑office environment, you will develop tailored hedging and yield‑enhancement strategies aligned with client risk objectives and prevailing market conditions.
To be a successful “Assistant Vice President – FX Structuring" candidate must have a role spans the full trade lifecycle—from idea origination and pricing to execution, risk communication, and sales enablement—and requires close collaboration with regional trading desks, product teams, and the interbank market to ensure competitive, timely, and compliant execution of complex structures.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, on critical technical, commercial, and stakeholder‑management capabilities, with an emphasis on effective engagement across multiple businesses and senior internal stakeholders.
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Physics, Economics, or an MBA from a recognized institution.
- Experience in derivatives structuring, trading, or specialist sales at a global or top‑tier regional bank.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities and ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of mentoring junior colleagues.
- FRM or CFA certification preferred.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
- Strong understanding of macro products.
- NDFs, FX Forwards, FX Swaps.
- Vanilla & Exotic Options.
- Accumulators and Barrier Structures.
- Solid quantitative foundation in options pricing theory, Greeks, sensitivity analysis, and volatility surface construction.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Python for pricing and workflow automation.
- Ability to leverage technology to automate processes, develop tools, and enhance efficiency across the structuring workflow.
This role will be based out of Mumbai.
