SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


As an Assistant Manager – Protective Sales, you will work closely with the Sales Manager to grow Jotun’s Performance Coatings business across new and existing customers in the assigned territory of Saurashtra, Gujarat. By building strong, long-term customer relationships and effectively leveraging Jotun’s sales tools and techniques, you will promote high value protective coating solutions. This role plays a key part in achieving budgeted sales, optimizing gross margins, improving DSO, and strengthening Jotun’s market share and profitability in the region.
This position is based at Saurashtra, Gujarat and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.

Role Responsibilities: -


  • Support the Sales Manager by managing assigned customer accounts, building strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and contributing to overall sales revenue in the territory.
  • Develop and maintain effective customer account plans by understanding customer needs, prioritizing actions, and using company resources to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Closely follow project and account progress by coordinating with customers, contractors, and internal teams, resolving technical and commercial queries, and inspecting coating application to ensure quality and timely completion.
  • Promote products and solutions through regular customer visits, presentations, and follow-ups with owners and consultants to ensure products are selected for projects and new sales opportunities are created.
  • Track projects within the assigned region to ensure products are used as planned, sales targets are met, and customer payments are collected within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to win new business, grow existing accounts, introduce new products, participate in sales meetings, and support large projects while meeting individual sales targets.

  • More than 3 years of relevant industry experience
