Position Overview

The Assistant Food & Beverages Manager supports the F&B Manager in overseeing food and beverage operations within JLL-managed commercial properties, including corporate dining facilities, cafeterias, coffee bars, and workplace amenity spaces. This role ensures exceptional service delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction while maintaining JLL's standards of excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Management Assist in managing daily operations of workplace dining and F&B amenities within the managed property. Support implementation of JLL's operational standards and service protocols. Coordinate with building management and client stakeholders to align F&B services with workplace needs. Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service quality to ensure consistency with client expectations and JLL standards.


Client and Occupant Experience Deliver exceptional customer service to building occupants and corporate clients. Act as point of contact for tenant inquiries, feedback, and special requests. Implement programs that enhance workplace dining experience and support client wellness initiatives. Monitor satisfaction metrics and adjust services based on feedback.


Team Leadership and Coordination Supervise F&B staff including café attendants, servers, and support personnel (whether direct employees or third-party vendors). Coordinate with catering vendors and food service contractors as applicable. Conduct staff training on service standards, safety protocols, and client-specific requirements. Foster a service-oriented culture aligned with JLL values.


Financial and Contract Management Assist in budget management and cost control for F&B operations. Monitor vendor performance against contract specifications and service level agreements. Track revenue, costs, and key performance indicators. Identify opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiencies.


Compliance and Safety Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Maintain food safety standards and proper sanitation in all F&B areas. Conduct regular facility inspections and equipment maintenance checks. Ensure adherence to building policies and JLL safety protocols.


Workplace Integration Support integration of F&B services with broader workplace experience initiatives. Coordinate F&B requirements for corporate events, meetings, and special functions. Collaborate with property management teams on amenity planning and space optimization.


Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in corporate dining, contract food services, or facility management. Experience working with commercial clients or in B2B service environments advantageous.


Skills and Competencies Strong customer service orientation with corporate client focus. Leadership and team coordination abilities. Understanding of facility management and workplace services. Financial management skills including budgeting and cost control. Proficiency in F&B management systems and standard software applications. Knowledge of food safety regulations and workplace health and safety requirements.


Personal Attributes Professional demeanor suitable for corporate environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities. Flexible and responsive to client needs and changing priorities. Ability to work collaboratively across property management teams.
