Asset Management - Investor Relation - Analyst

Partner with senior leaders to strengthen governance, streamline execution, and elevate the investor experience. Make a visible impact across fund formation, deals, and platform operations.

As a Private Capital Platform Associate in JPM Private Capital (Asset Management Alternatives), you support the end-to-end operating model and key workflows that enable a high-growth private equity platform to scale with strong risk discipline. You partner closely with the COO, CFO, and Platform team to drive initiatives across procedures, governance, controls, and execution support. You collaborate with Investor Relations, Client Service, and Fund Controllers to deliver a best-in-class investor experience and efficient platform operations.

• Help scale the Private Capital platform by supporting the business end-to-end across key operating workflows.
• Drive operating model evolution through initiatives across procedures, governance, and controls.
• Execute platform initiatives that improve consistency, scalability, and risk discipline.
• Partner strategically with the Private Capital COO, CFO, and Platform team on priority deliverables.
• Support fund formation processes and related documentation, coordination, and readiness activities.
• Enable deal execution workflows through cross-functional coordination and process support.
• Coordinate investor relations workflows, including reporting support and communication readiness.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and Client Service to deliver a best-in-class client experience.
• Support investor onboarding, transfers, and ongoing client communications across existing and new relationships.
• Work closely with the Private Capital fund controller team on multiple platform workflows.
• Improve process efficiency by identifying gaps, documenting processes, and recommending enhancements.

• Hold an MBA with at least 2 years of experience in Alternatives.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Alternatives asset class and interest in learning its full lifecycle.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with strong written and verbal skills.
• Build effective relationships across teams with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Apply strong initiative, energy, and confidence delivering with limited supervision.
• Operate as a strong team player with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF proficiently for analysis and materials preparation.

• Perform calmly and accurately in high-pressure situations.
• Work independently while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment.
• Demonstrate experience supporting private equity or venture capital platform operations.
