As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
- Continuously monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in debugging and analyzing SAP ABAP code to identify and resolve system issues.
- Strong understanding of SAP HANA database concepts and integration with ABAP applications.
- Ability to optimize ABAP programs for performance improvements in HANA environments.
- Familiarity with SAP system landscapes, transports, and change management processes.
- Skilled in collaborating with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Nagpur office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
