In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Oracle Cloud Reports, you will create data extracts and Business Intelligence Publisher/OTBI reports within the Oracle Cloud SaaS environment. You will utilize your understanding of the Oracle Cloud SaaS data model related to Oracle ERP and SCM modules to design and develop effective reports. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Design and Develop Reports: Create data extracts and reports within the Oracle Cloud SaaS environment, leveraging the platform's capabilities and your knowledge of the Oracle Cloud SaaS data model related to Oracle ERP and SCM modules. * Deliver Reports in BIP: Work with templates like rtf, eText, excel, and Online Payment files formats to deliver reports in Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP). * Create OTBI Reports: Develop reports based on criteria using the delivered subject areas and publish them in dashboards, demonstrating a fair understanding of delivered content in ERP and SCM modules. * Schedule Reports: Schedule reports using the enterprise scheduler (e.g., ESS jobs) or BIP Jobs, ensuring timely delivery of reports. * Apply ERP Security Model: Utilize knowledge of the ERP security model, including job roles, duty roles, and data roles, to ensure secure report delivery.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Exposure to Oracle Cloud SaaS Environment: Familiarity with creating data extracts and Business Intelligence Publisher/OTBI reports within the Oracle Cloud SaaS environment, including understanding of the Oracle Cloud SaaS data model related to Oracle ERP and SCM modules. * Experience with Report Development: Knowledge of designing and developing reports that leverage the platform's capabilities, including working with templates like rtf, eText, excel, and Online Payment files formats to deliver reports in BIP. * Understanding of OTBI: Exposure to creating reports based on criteria using the delivered subject areas and publishing them in dashboards, with a fair understanding of delivered content in ERP and SCM modules. * Familiarity with ERP Security Model: Knowledge of the ERP security model, including job roles, duty roles, and data roles, to ensure secure report delivery. * Experience with Report Scheduling: Exposure to scheduling reports using the enterprise scheduler (e.g., ESS jobs) or BIP Jobs, ensuring timely delivery of reports.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Knowledge of Reconciliation Reports: Familiarity with creating reconciliation reports and financial statement reports, such as Trial Balance Accounts Analysis and Customer Aging Reports, is beneficial for this role. This includes understanding the data requirements and report layout for these types of reports. * Experience with Financial Statement Reports: Exposure to creating financial statement reports, including understanding the data model and report layout, is advantageous for this position. This includes knowledge of reports such as Trial Balance Accounts Analysis and Customer Aging Reports.
