In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Industry Packages, you will develop, support, and maintain industry-specific software solutions. You will utilize your expertise to analyze and resolve issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Develop and Maintain Industry Packages: Develop, support, and maintain industry-specific packages, such as Infor, Apriso Flexnet, IFS, Maconomy, and others, ensuring they meet client needs and remain up-to-date. * Analyze and Resolve Issues: Utilize expertise in industry-specific software solutions to analyze and resolve issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed to ensure timely resolution. * Provide Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to clients on industry package implementation, customization, and integration, ensuring seamless adoption and optimal usage. * Collaborate on Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet client needs, leveraging industry-specific software expertise to inform design decisions. * Implement Solutions: Implement solutions, ensuring they meet client needs and are delivered on time, while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Exposure to Industry-Specific Software: Experience working with industry-specific packages, such as Infor, Apriso Flexnet, IFS, Maconomy, and others, including development, support, and maintenance. * Issue Analysis and Resolution: Exposure to analyzing and resolving issues related to industry-specific software solutions, including collaboration with cross-functional teams. * Technical Guidance and Support: Experience providing technical guidance and support to clients on industry package implementation, customization, and integration. * Solution Design and Implementation: Exposure to designing and implementing solutions that meet client needs, leveraging industry-specific software expertise to inform design decisions. * Industry Package Development: Experience developing and maintaining industry-specific packages, ensuring they meet client needs and remain up-to-date.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Industry Package Customization: Exposure to customizing industry-specific packages, such as Infor, Apriso Flexnet, and IFS, to meet client needs and preferences. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leverage industry-specific software expertise. * Technical Troubleshooting: Exposure to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to industry-specific software solutions, including collaboration with cross-functional teams.
