Alpha Implementation Test Associate - Assistant Manager

Who we are looking for

We seek a professional with strong automation, testing, and coordination experience to manage execution from offshore (India) within Alpha implementations. The Alpha Global Testing Practice focuses on strategy, planning, execution, and management of end-to-end platform testing during Alpha implementations. These programs span front, middle, and back office operations and involve complex data flows across State Street, Charles River Development, clients, and industry partners.

The ideal candidate will ensure effective planning, execution, and coordination while contributing as an individual contributor and supporting program-level activities

Automation of end-to-end testing of Alpha’s applications, data, and workflows is essential to accelerate implementation timelines, ensure reliable delivery, and provide a seamless client experience.

What you will be responsible for

• Develop and maintain a modular, reusable test automation framework centered on UiPath Test Suite (incl. RPA test automation, orchestrations, and GenAI-assisted test generation/analysis).
• Have Automation first approach. Core understanding of the Automation concepts.
• working with a global testing team of functional and automation testers who design, plan, and execute testing for all in scope applications, systems, workflows, and data models/flows.
• Design and execution of all automation testing activities.
• Coordinate with global teams, third party vendors, and stakeholders to support smooth execution and dependency management across workstreams.
• Define and promote standards, tools, and best practices for test automation, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Adoption and continuous improvement of best practices and testing standards.
• Support preparation and maintenance of standard Automation testing artefacts and reports, including Automation Test Plan, Automation Test Strategy, Autoamtion Test Execution Summary, and metrics dashboards.
• Act as a backup to the Automation Test Lead, supporting management reporting and status communication when required.
• Support understanding and champion adoption of AI driven testing methodologies where applicable.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, and exhibit a delivery focused, collaborative mindset.
• Coordinate with US / UK teams and clients, with flexibility to work across APAC, UK, or US time zones as required.

The successful candidate must have strong ownership of workstream delivery, end to end testing , automation expertise and  capabilities with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

• 4–10 years of experience in Automation testing, with a good understanding of Capital Markets domain.
• Strong Experience in UiPath Test Automation and understanding on UiPath SaaS cloud for Test Automation activities.
• Good Programming skills in C# or Java or Python for developing any Utilities.
• Hands-on experience in automating the citrix based applications with Uipath.
• Good knowledge on Un-attended execution in UiPath.
• Deep understanding of Automation core concepts with good knowledge on Uipath studio, Uipath Orchestrator and Bots.
• Good Knowledge in Uipath Test Manager and its Integration with Jira and other tools.
• Nice to have AutoPilot experience.
• Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and execute Automation testing activities aligned with project milestones and delivery timelines.
• Experience in test metrics generation and delivering timely and accurate status reporting to management.
• Proven ability to manage cross functional stakeholders and contribute to successful program delivery.
• Proficient in test management and reporting tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work closely with Business teams (test case reviews, operational readiness) and IT teams (deployments, fixes, and issue resolution).
• Good understanding of AI concepts with familiarity in AI driven testing approaches, including identifying opportunities for AI adoption within testing processes.
• Self driven professional with the ability to deliver outcomes independently with minimal follow ups.
• Ability to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, eliminate redundant activities, and enhance testing processes.
• Actively contribute to project delivery and strategic initiatives, supporting capability building, process maturity, and long term testing excellence.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

•           Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering / science streams.
