Alpha ADS TechOps Analyst, Associate

Who we are looking for

The Alpha ADS TechOps Analyst is an Associate 2 position. State Street Alpha Data Services organization is seeking a self-motivated individual to participate in the buildout, delivery, and ongoing support of the cloud services that underpin our managed data service offering.

The ADS TechOps Analyst will collaborate with technical and business members of State Street’s global ALPHA organization to support operational processes surrounding client onboarding, deployments and systems integration.

The key aspect of this role is to co-ordinate with different teams for code deployment in client environments across multiple regions, get connectivity issues fixed, assist with user access requests and client onboarding.

Major Responsibilities:

• Support Development, Implementation teams in ADS to deliver to clients on time.

  
  

• Helping with various activities like code deployments.

  
  

• Keeping track of daily requests and managing them to closure.

  
  

• Sending timely updates and collaborate with engineering, architecture, application development, corporate systems, vendors / service providers, and various infrastructure and operations groups to standup, provision and troubleshoot connectivity for client environments.

  
  

• Work on creating config files in GitHub.

  
  

• Interface deployments using TeamCity and CI/CD Pipelines.

  
  

• Raise tickets in JIRA, Service Now.

  
  

• Help with production deployments and making sure requires Change tickets and approvals in place.

  
  

• Executing DML snowflake scripts in client environments.

  
  

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or above.

  
  

• Minimum 2 years of IT experience.

  
  

• Microsoft Azure Certification or Snowflake certification is a plus.

  
  

What we value

• 1-2 years of experience working with application teams on the delivery, access enablement and support of foundational and common cloud service capabilities.

  
  

• 2-3 years of experience with cloud based (Azure and Snowflake) data services, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, code deployments.

  
  

• Knowledge of SQL, Enterprise Data Management and Data Warehousing principles, are all an advantage.

  
  

• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel and requirements continue to evolve.

  
  

• Effective communicator – can summarize succinctly and can provide details when needed.

  
  

• Team oriented – capable of working in a global setting.

  
  

• Strong Microsoft Office skills especially in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

  
  

• Self-motivated, charismatic and able to influence others at all levels of an organization.
