Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Agentic Foundation

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager - Agentic Foundation to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. The Agentic Foundation team treats AI adoption as an internal product, building and operating the tooling, frameworks, and services that make AI-native workflows the default across Procore's software development lifecycle. This position requires developer productivity experience to achieve high velocity without compromising on quality in this critical functional domain.

This position reports to a Senior Software Engineering Manager, and will be based in our Cairo, Egypt office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

• Lead, hire, manage, and develop high-performing teams focused on integrating agentic AI capabilities across the software development lifecycle.

  
  
  

• Analyze engineering processes and identify areas for improvement.

  
  
  

• Track key metrics related to AI SDLC and report on progress and impact.

  
  
  

• Drive the design, development, and adoption of foundational frameworks and tooling that enabled agentic workflows across Procore’s SDLC.

  
  
  

• Conduct performance reviews and career development planning for team members.

  
  
  

• Foster collaboration between the Agentic Foundation team and other engineering teams.

  
  
  

• Manage delivery of features using agile and scrum methodologies including all ceremonies.

  
  
  

What we're looking for: 

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including experience managing software engineering teams.

  
  
  

• Proven track record of identifying and implementing solutions to improve engineering efficiency.

  
  
  

• Proficiency in SDLC process using agile methodologies including all ceremonies.

  
  
  

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  
  
  

• Ability to coach, provide mentorship and guidance that aids team growth and development.

  
  
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  
  
  

• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts, LLM-powered developer tools, or AI-assisted SDLC practices.

  
  
  

• Background in platform engineering, DevOps, or developer experience (DevEx) disciplines.
