Resident Engineer (External)

A Snapshot of Your Day:
As a Resident Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of service events for gas turbines, generators, and steam turbines, acting as the primary liaison between customers and project stakeholders. How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and project stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication.
• Coordinate planned service events and respond to unplanned service events on-site.
• Manage logistics for field service personnel, including arrivals, departures, and lodging.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standards.
• Handle project-related consumables, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
• Support project controls tasks, including cost tracking and feedback for continual improvement.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in power generation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
