Our goal is to conduct high-priority and ethical basic, preclinical and clinical research, bridging the gap between science and community to improve health and quality of life.
MARC is looking to have an experienced candidate for Local Purchasing Specialist Key responsibilities: Review requisition requests, prepare purchase orders, and follow up on delivery Prepare price comparisons to ensure alignment with contract terms Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers and vendors Analyze financial data, proposals, and reports to determine reasonable pricing Balance cost and quality to procure goods in the right quantity and value Evaluate suppliers/products and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies Bachelor’s degree in business administration/commerce or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience Excellent command of English (written and spoken) Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to analyze financial data and compare pricing effectively Detail-oriented with knowledge of purchasing policies and compliance standards Knowledge of Oracle ERP is a plus
