DSV Air & Sea  is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Import Sea in Sydeny.

The position is responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of import door consignments from origin to destination by compiling, completing and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy and procedure and external body regulations.

Your typical day at DSV:

• Manage import workflows in line with SOPs, customer requirements, and company directives.

  
  

• Collaborate with the import team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of shipments.

  
  

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers locally and internationally.

  
  

• Resolve import and transport issues with stakeholders such as airlines, CTOs, co-loaders, and shipping lines.

  
  

• Accurately calculate freight costings, GST, and space requirements.

  
  

• Enter data into CargoWise One (CW1) efficiently and correctly.

  
  

• Identify and support process improvements and assist the Team Lead/Manager with daily operations and projects.

• Strong communicator with the ability to influence, present clearly, and challenge ideas constructively.

  
  

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, meeting deadlines, and following procedures.

  
  

• Confident and resilient, with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  
  

• Skilled in problem-solving, data interpretation, and documentation.

  
  

• Proven experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea), and proficient in CargoWise One and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
