Position Overview We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our EDAi team in Cairo, Egypt. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for AI application functionality. Design innovative test scenarios targeting different customer use cases to identify issues and provide suggestions for improvement. Perform manual and automated testing of conversational flows, APIs, integrations, and overall system performance. Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and effectively report issues. Stay up to date with industry trends and testing best practices for AI and conversational platforms. Qualifications B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum grade of Very Good or an equivalent GPA. 0–3 years of relevant experience. Good knowledge of AI, machine learning (ML), and large language model (LLM) concepts. Familiarity with API testing concepts. Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation. Experience with QA testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Postman, or similar tools is preferred. Experience with NLP concepts such as intent recognition, entity extraction, and conversational flow is a plus. Basic knowledge of QA methodologies and development tools (e.g., version control, defect management, and test coverage) is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, clearly document test results, and communicate efficiently with development teams. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is USD 17,700 to USD 35,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
