Could you be the full-time Project Manager - Repair & Overhauls in Trápaga, Bilbao we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You'll be accountable for project QCDP and project EHS. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (repairs & overhaul), ensure Alstom legal and contractual rights are protected and much more.

You’ll specifically take care ofdriving the execution of project, according to contractual requirements and customer expectations (summarized in contract charter), to maximize the results with respect to cash and margin whilst delivering on time, in conformity with Alstom project managementand execution processes, but also seek and propose to the Parts & Overhaul Project Coordinator Manager/ Platform additional opportunities.

We’ll look to you for:

• Be responsible for the project governance. Define project strategy in line with contract requirements, including PMP elaboration and objectives allocation to Sub-Systems (planning, cost, quality, performance)
• Lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from transfer to close-out including:
  • Proper transfer from tender to project
  • Definition of Project objectives and main drivers (product/service performance, planning) to achieve customer satisfaction in the frame of the Contract
  • Resources management.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable rules, instructions and standards: Code of Ethics & Compliance, EHS, Railway Safety, Quality, Project Management Manual

• Manage customer and external stakeholders’ relationship: continuously ensuring alignment with customer contractual requirements, Alstom representative towards Customers and when applicable external stakeholders and ensuring contract management and variation orders towards customer

• Degree in Engineering, Electronic or any other relevant discipline complemented through experience by a demonstrated track record of success.
• Language skills required: advanced/business fluent level of English and Spanish. 
• Strong knowledge in railway power electronics will be valuable. 
• Use of up to date IT tools such as Microsoft Office. 
• 4 years of experience in similar positions. 
• Project management skills
