About the Role
TNA is looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales across Brazil, identifying new target markets, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and current clients with the objective of achieving sales revenue and growth according to team and individual targets.
With our Head office based in Jundiaí, Brazil, this position will be reporting directly into the Branch Manager.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for, but not limited to
- Work closely with the GM-LA to
drive growth and ensure that overall profitability and performance exceed budgets and targets.
- Ensure account business plans are realistic and achievable, and provide reports as requested.
- Personally, drive sales with prospective and existing customers to deliver revenue and profit to meet short and long-term business plans.
- Lead the branch team across logistics, projects and technical support, providing leadership, coaching and development to achieve performance and maintain client satisfaction.
- Identify new target markets.
- Build and market to prospective and current customers with the objectives of driving sales growth and excellence in service.
- Ensure sound knowledge of TNA’s products and services is developed and continually maintained as new product lines and product upgrades are launched.
- Identify and develop business opportunitieswith new & current clients, in existing industries and new target markets that can be served by TNA’s product lines.
- Evaluate, develop and execute targeted initiatives to help grow sales and overall support for TNA’s equipment including annual business plans with objectives
- Coordinate the development of sales promotion and lead generation activities, plus other relevant marketing initiatives.
- Work with the Engineers and Project Management teams to confirm specific client requirements, timeframes for installation and TNApractices and requirements.
- Liaise with Technical Support to achieve and maintain client satisfaction, from installation and commissioning to maintenance.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of competitor products and pricing
- Attend and work at trade shows / exhibitions held throughout the year (including some weekends).
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering degree or an interest and affiliation with engineered solutions.
- Proven B2B capital sales track record within the food processing and packaging industry in the Brazil market.
- Exposure to the food or packaging industry is mandatory.
- Capital Goods sales experience.
- Significant sales management history in a senior capacity, with proven results of consistently driving the sales process from plan to close, ensuring outcomes are achieved.
- Relevant work experience in special purpose or industrial machinery sales or a manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Sales or marketing solutions and strategies to meet set targets/KPIs.
Skills & Abilities
- High communication skills.
- Able to think in consultative selling strategies.
- Able to stage a selling process that overcomes objection and indifferences and connects client needs with TNA solutions.
- Strong negotiation
- Ability to think strategically with good reasoning ability.
- Able to provide excellent customer experiences and build strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- 50% travel at short notice locally including some weekends.
- Logistics and Finance knowledge advantageous.
- Leadership skills or management skills will be an advantage.
- English language proficiency (written and verbal).
