Yogesh Metha, CEO of Petrochem, explains how his repeated business failures have fueled his determination to succeed.

Yogesh Mehta acquired his interest in petrochemicals at a very young age. When he was 14 years old, he began helping his father at a chemical company. Soon after, Yogesh, and two partners, founded their very own small petrochemical company. Due to lack of experience running a business and many rookie mistakes, the business failed and Yogesh lost all of his money. At the age of 29, Yogesh left India to try out his luck in Dubai. His persistence helped him fulfill his dreams, as Petrochem Middle East was established in 1995 and eventually expanded to become one of the leading petrochemical companies in the region.
