Question from Job Seeker:
I have been engaged in the advertising industry for over 5 years and I have come a long way: it has been a wonderful and rewarding (but quite overwhelming) experience- I have decided that I would like to make an integral shift to either Telecommunications or Petrochemicals. Which do you recommend- bearing in mind that I am residing in Jordan right now but potentially mobile and willing to relocate to another neighboring Middle Eastern country.
Answer from Bayt.com HR Guru:
Five years in the same industry implies stability which will play for your advantage when you embark on your quest for a new career in a different industry- however, make sure you get yourself ready to answer all kinds of questions by prospective employers regarding this career move, keeping in mind that in order for you to be convincing, you have to be convinced first, so are you?
