The MENA region is very diverse when it comes to the factors that affect the overall attractiveness of an industry as well as its opportunities for career growth and success

The Bayt.com Top Industries survey ranks the most attractive industries for people to both work and prosper in, based on the most valued attributes.

Key Findings:

• Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals and Banking/Finance/Accounting emerge as the top industries offering the best career growth.
• Government / Civil service (21%) and Banking/ Finance/ Accounting (19%) were voted as the top industries for work-life balance in the MENA region.
• The industries with the most competitive packages are perceived to be Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals (according to 40%), followed by Banking and Finance (21%).

Data for the 2019 Bayt.com Top Industries in the MENA survey was collected online from 8^th August 2019 to 15^th September 2019. Results are based on a sample of 3,525 respondents from the following countries: UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, and others.
