Technical Writer (Arabic) – Software Documentation - Bahrain

We are actively seeking a talented and detail-oriented Arabic Technical Writer to join our team. This role is pivotal in crafting and translating technical content for our software products, ensuring a seamless experience for our Arabic-speaking users. The ideal candidate will have a strong linguistic background, a passion for technology, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear and concise Arabic.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive Arabic manuals for our products, including User Manuals, System Admin Manuals, Installation Guides, and Online Help.
• Translate and adapt the English manuals from English to Arabic.
• Translate User Interface content of our products, covering System Messages, Captions, Settings, and Configurations from English to Arabic.

• Coordinate effectively with the design team to integrate Arabic content seamlessly into User interface design.

• Graduate preferably with a degree in Computer Science or any equivalent technical major.
• Native-level proficiency, strong command of the Arabic language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to translate technical content accurately while maintaining linguistic and cultural nuances.
• Openness to receiving feedback and making necessary revisions to improve the quality of the translated content.
• Should be able to effectively grasp concepts conveyed by English speaking team members and discuss approaches on content creation.
• Understanding of technical concepts related to Software applications.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining technical documents, manuals, and guides.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio).

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• High levels of initiative, along with the ability to work with minimal oversight, and capability to multitask.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and design.
• Familiarity with creating Arabic marketing content for the company website, social media platforms, banners, and artwork.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving project requirements and deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality, error-free content.
• Drive for continuous learning and self-improvement.
• Familiarity with Adobe products such as (Adobe Xd, Illustrator, InDesign) would be an advantage.
• Should be an effective communicator both in Arabic and English language.
• Ability to update English content when the need arises.
